Who IS Shiny Girl

I wish that I was, but I'm not, the kind of 'geek' who cruises shop aisles for comic books and graphic novels, and unless we're talking Christian Bale or Clooney, the Batman-type character doesn't inspire me..but I've decided I still need a superhero in my life.

Instead of Googling any and every kickass female superhero ever cartooned, I decided to create my own. Someone I know I could look up to, and learn from, and lean on. And someone really shiny. As I'm making a list of qualities that my idea superhero should possess, I realized, 'Good lord, I am looking in a mirror!'

Add a little shimmer, and I myself, could be her.
